Veromar
started life in 1998 as a new product development
business; creating ideas for businesses and helping
them turn these ideas into reality. We came up with
some great ideas and clients have included Tesco,
South West Tourism, NatWest and many SME’s. |
Realising the value we could offer SME’s, in 2002 we launched our business development consultancy, providing businesses with a service that assists them in achieving a real competitive advantage. We have successfully supported many SME’s in achieving their goals.
As consultants to South West Tourism for over four years we have contributed to the success of many of their member's businesses.
We have experience of working across a wide range of business sectors including tourism, creative services, cosmetics and toiletries, food & drink and other consumer related businesses.
In 2004, we launched a new division offering professional marketing training. We have developed marketing courses and workshops from strategic planning through to e-marketing. Our experienced trainers, all of which are Chartered Marketers, have trained hundreds of people in the South West.
Delegate feedback has been excellent and Tourism Skills Network, Business Link, the Learning and Skills Council and other government bodies have supported our training courses.

J Margaret Hiles DipM MCIM Chartered Marketer
Margaret spent her formative years in the North East, studied Business Studies and Marketing Management at Northumbria University and gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She has spent over 10 years in marketing management working with international organisations. Major brands she worked with include Ponds, Cutex and Foster Grant.
On discovering her passion for helping businesses explore beyond their comfort zone she has been able to assist many SME’s to develop their full potential. She has been a Business Link personal adviser and consultant to South West Tourism for the last four years assisting their members with business/marketing advice.
Margaret is a Chartered Marketer and Vice Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Devon).
Now based in the South West, Margaret has developed a real understanding of the challenges faced by rural businesses, and tourism operators. She was recently awarded a scholarship to attend the Duchy ‘Rural Leadership Challenge’ to continue her personal development. As consultant to South West Tourism for over four years she has developed a detailed knowledge of the tourism industry, which is one of the leading business sectors in the South West.
Clients find her approach refreshing, proactive, creative and very inspirational.
